Launching our youth-led series of short films produced for Karakan
It was a delight to attend the Wayfinders Community Premiere. Held at Logan City’s WIlbur St Community Centre on Friday 12th June, the event brought together the people behind Wayfinders, including the production team from Motley Content, and the communities the project sought to represent.
Wayfinders is a series of three short films made in collaboration with young people living in South East Queensland. Based on the massive turn out and positive response from our audience, we have a sneaking suspicion that ‘Jedda’, ‘Kai’ and ‘Lani’ — written and directed by Brisbane’s Grace Julia — are just the beginning of this impactful collaboration.
We look forward to continuing to work with the diverse communities in Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Brisbane, and championing the voices of SEQ’s youth.

We’re a Queensland based film production company making content that really matters
Combining our prowess for producing commercial campaigns with our love of engaging with the community, this campaign really spoke to our mission. We’re committed to telling stories that matter, and whether we’ve engaged by a brand, business or organisation, like Karakan, we’re firm believers in a cinematic, narrative based approach that engages with the audience, rather than selling to them.
If you’d like Motley Content to produce a commercial campaign, short film series or digital series that delivers both on quality and entertainment value, we’d love to talk. Contact us using this form.
