Wayfinders community premiere: short films unitE Queensland youth
As a Queensland production company, there’s nothing more exciting than being a part of a growing region. Wayfinders is a series of three youth-led short films we produced in collaboration with Karakan. Written and directed by Grace Julia, alongside director of photography Mark Broadbent ACS, this campaign was an exciting opportunity for Motley Content to use our commercial prowess in a way that gives back. We look forward to continuing to worth with young people in South East Queensland on short form narrative projects that are genuinely guided by the people they seek to both engage with and represent.
Motley Content’s new Brisbane headquarters
I started my career as a Queensland producer in Brisbane in 2010, producing music videos, short films, and corporate projects. After successfully building Motley Content business into successful video production company, I had the opportunity to relocate to Sydney, so I packed my bags and Motley Content came with me. In NSW, our team worked on diverse productions, from TVCs to a 10 episode documentary series. But the call of the river city brought me home, and upon returning to Brisbane, Motley Content was awarded Screen Queensland funded to produce a web series for social media. Brisbane’s thriving industry and new innovative agencies are an inspiration. Combining the expertise gained working in Sydney’s competitive market with a local understanding of Queensland’s film production landscape, Motley Content is well positioned to deliver impactful campaigns and narratives, making us a trusted local partner for video production in Brisbane.
